Modern Warfare Mod brings World in Conflict from the Cold War into the Modern Age. It also ups the ante on realism and authenticity in every role – Infantry, Armor, Support and Air, while trying our best to keep everything relatively balanced for fun and interesting gameplay.

As we are adding more units into the game (i.e. Leopard 2), the unit ordering menu is starting to get congested. We're evaluating all available units and trying to find out which units are used, and which units are simply not being used by players.

We'd like to better understand if you use Mobile Mortar carrier units in the game, which fires 82mm mortar to provide light fire support for infantry. Is it useful? With lot of mechanized threats infantry players face, it doesn't seem to be a very effective weapon system, unless you're just fighting light insurgents (which is not what MW Mod portrays).

I dig them. They are a way of knocking out a lot of the call in stuff like AA infantry and CIWS that isn't going to move around much, and that you don't want to waste TA on(Because lets face it, You need TA for spamming ballistic missile launchers.). Is NATO becoming a thing now? Why would the US have a Leopard?

Teams are no longer US vs. RU; but instead being renamed to "BLUEFOR" vs. "REDFOR"; this would more accurately describe the addition of weapons from different countries.

I request JFSN Call For Fire to support my infantry. But Mobile Mortar is good too..

I've found a solution to this, and we will be able to keep the mortars in place after all :>

Thanks for your comments!

We definitely need MOAR laser guided munitions! M712 and the like!
