An unofficial patch fixes inconsistencies, balance, and AI of original game. Not an overhaul, just an enhancement mod that preserves original flavor of game. Imagine if Eugen continued to support the game, this mod aim to have that same approach. Notable changes: 1. Improved AI 2. Buffed/fixed Commonwealth, NORAD, Red Dragon and Blue Dragon coalition. 3. Fixed incorrect naming of units. 4. Balance in general. It will take time to appreciate the changes. At first it may be hard to notice things, but you will start to miss it the moment you return to vanilla.

TK3600 made the game more enjoyable without killing its nature atmosphere and limitation.

Vanilla Wargame Red dragon has a ugly AI with multiplied number of units. It just throws units and swarm of bombers.

Vanilla Wargame also has a overly distorted balance on some nations intentionally to encourage the use of coalition forcefully.

After applying TK3600's Unofficial patch, AI became smarter and has a fair number of units.

Those AI enhancement also affected the play style in the campaign missions.

Who hates or avoids the campaign now can have a reason to try again.

TK3600's Unofficial patch also made minor nations more playable without damaging original attribute with the respect of the historical accuracy of each units which were missed by the developer.

TK3600 also a number of small but essential tweaks to get the total balance of game.

Furthermore, he/she tried to communicate with others and worked hard to apply good opinions to his patch as possible as he/she can.

I had stopped playing Wargame Skirmish about 2 years, but TK3600's patch delivers new enjoyment and I fall in love with Wargame again.

This MOD will be one of the best example of MOD for life enhancement of the old game.

I really appreciate that TK3600 started this work.

Thank you for reading.

This is a bit late of a review on my part, primarily because it took me a while to connect back to this account, but I finally got around to writing this.

This mod is the breath of fresh air that Wargame: Red Dragon needed after much neglect from Eugen, the developers. Not only does it resolve realism and balance issues that were present before, but it also brings forward much needed changes, especially for the AI of the game, which in vanilla is honestly quite bad.

The new, optional units are a welcome addition, and their presence or absence can really change the flow for a match, which have become a lot more enjoyable and diverse since the mod's changes.

Overall, this is a very high quality product, especially for such a barren market as the Wargame Modding scene. I'm genuinely impressed, and in love with the hard work and attention put into this mod.

I love this mod for keeping the Wargame Red Dragon feeling while improving the gameplay of it and fixing the game and adding new, logical, units.

Other mods prefer to remove content that already exists in the game to 'improve' the game in twisted ways from what I experienced but this mod after discovering it, despite my scepticism, became my main way to play Wargame. It adds life to a game abandoned by its own developers.
