In 1.12, it will be possible to simulate modern hybrid regimes such as the one in Iran where there is a semi elected body but a dictator for life, the situation in China prior to 2018 where the parliament was un-elected and one party only but with a term limited dictator and semi-authoritarian democracies like pre-2018 Malaysia where the leader has no term limits and commands virtually all executive and legislative power but can still be deposed via an election.
What are the conditions that have to be met to declare it?
Subvert the legal system > extend the president’s executive powers > remove term limits > hold extraordinary session
