I am pleased to announce that our "V for VICTORY DOD:RELOADED" TEAM of Mappers, Coders, Modders and writers are enthusiastically working to create the next generation "Day of Defeat" by incorporating the best of DOD 1.3 and DOD Source, while adding some new and unique features. just a suggestion

i was really disappointed with the player models of day of defeat source, everyone was the same- and no face-posing, The charecters had great sounding orders yet their faces remained still !

for the models i suggest...

1: you steal all male human heads from hl (Possibly include some main ones ) and maybe make your own, then make them bodygroups to the player models (no blacks or asians for the germans)

2: make netted helmets, but also helmets with undone chinstraps

3: to add a little extra variety
- make an arm bodygroup- sleeves,rolled up sleves with hairy arms, rolled up sleeves with clean arms etc
-boots, knee high and ankle high
-torso, skiny, normal, ****** (for a soldier)

4: make skinsets for maps- for example, in a snow map the germans shall wear snow cammo while the alies have snow on them (cus americans wherent smart enough for snow cammo)
-1 is normal
-2 is wet/muddy
-3 is snow
-4 is desert/afrika corps
- onwards its whatever you want, but a map entity would be needed to decipher what to use

Good suggestion, but on a side note The Americans weren't stupid for not having winter camo. Keep in mind the Americans launched Operation Overlord, which started on the 6th of June and ended on the 25th of August. They didn't expect to be in Europe until winter! Nobody did, in which case you could say they were a bit niive, but that is quite different than being stupid. And 2nd I don't think at that time they were worried about camouflage, because as you said in the winter most of them were covered in snow. DO YOU REALLY ******* THINK THEY WERE GOING TO SLOW DOWN THE WAR EFFORT TO MAKE A ******* PIECE WHITE CLOTH!(If you think about it the industry was so slow back than it probably would.) I am sorry, but it just do you really think that they would do that? So you're saying someone who has snow on them(Basically the same thing as camo) can get shot, while if they had camo they would live? I don't think so. Just give some respect to the minds of the war and think about what you are saying before you actually do. Thanks.
