v1.6 is a community project by a large group of people.

It allows players who can't run DE, to still remain in the community and play aoe2, instead of leaving for league of legends or any other game.
It brings new graphics, new maps, civilizations, improved AI, hotkeys for technologies, hotkeys for SELECT ALL, fishermen drop food at docks, handicap mode, empire wars, CBA for DE civs, age of mandela, tech tree ui, auto farms and fish traps and many more
