The Resistance have mobilized agaisnt the Combine, causing the streets of City 17 to be turned into a warzone. Fight for the Resistance as a Rebel or fight against it as a Combine, as an Offensive, Defensive, or Support class. Uprise is an urban warfare multi-player mod for Alien Swarm, featuring various unique gameplay modes with a familiar scenarios. The Rebels and Combine both struggle for the resources needed to fight and survive the uprise.

After a long ~5 month break development on Uprise has once again started.
The big question right now is "Why halt development?". Well, I'm the soul developer behind Uprise. This means that if I don't work then mod doesn't gain progress, and I don't work on this project all the time. My attention is focused on other projects and my life.
Uprise has taken quite the beating since I last posted. I had first changed over to the UDK, then over to CryEngine before returning back to Source this time using the ASW Skeleton Base. What this means is that everything has been trashed and I have been building the mod from the ground up. Currently I have been working on weapons, weapon handling and the HUD. There isn't much media I can show you guys since a lot of the development isn't ready to been seen.
