Project is focused on giving nev visuals to most of UT 99 content. The main objective - recreate most of existing models (for weapons, pickups, model based effects and so) with higher quality. Script part will not be changed, updated content will work as original.
Well...that had some chance to happen and happened.
Project is closed. Some unseen circumstances forced me to leave any development for years. As result - i lost all of related to this project data, and have no any wish to start this again from nothing. I worked alone and usually this is the way most of projects are ended.
Currently, i'm returning to 3D design and gonna to make my job from that. And last time i had some ideas floating in my head about to make something Unreal again. Currently i dont know where it will be started - maybe Unreal 227, maybe UT or UT 2k4... I did not shaped my thinkings yet and still not choose platform.
So..sorry for all fans who waited for this project and for who i did not meet expectations.
The great update of long and hard project. Not a lot to show yet, especially because i'm gonna to make an in-game previews

Been looking for something like this, kind of surprised this is the only one I've found. Tracking because it looks pretty interesting so far!
Oh btw ...fogot to track this mod.

Zartax ...hehe found ya!!
Project is under construction.
In some bad reasons i was forced to restart whole works cause progress was thrown back - i was totally disappointed because i lost nearly 100% of model data related to this stuff, hard drive at my work PC was damaged, i spent hours picking out bits of information but not reached any acceptable results.
And another reason - second modeller i collaborated with, leaved the developments. So, yup...i'm again working alone.
Thats how things are going guys.
Looks fancy, tracking.
I'm really looking forward to this. Love the idea of updated visuals for the standard weapons. One question though will the weapons still retain their original damage, fire rate, etc?
Things, related to how will stuff act in game will not be changed :)
Weapons will act as original arsenal as close as it will be possible. I will not touch 90% of code. There will be only few functions reworked to work better (few extremely unique). And will be reworked only after i consult most expirenced in programming people.
One question though, what you do to export into UT99 ?
There are two ways. Both can be done.
1st. Import via skeletal meshes.
2nd. Work a bit more and import as UT mostly use - 3d format.
I prefer first one. But if will get troubles, should use second way
