Ultimate Empire at War is a conversion of Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption. It aims to include four eras of Star Wars history: the Age of the Old Republic, the Clone Wars, the Galactic Civil War, and the Dawn of the New Republic in an re-created game that is more engaging on both the tactical and strategic level, enhancing gameplay and deepening it, as well as overhauling the graphics in the game. In short - EaW the way it was meant to be - spanning Star Wars history in a deeply strategic game with high quality graphics and challenging gameplay.

Check out the original on this one; mainly selected here because in full resolution the ISD II is beautiful.

ISDs cost a hefty amount of credits, both to build and maintain. This is not to say that you can't have large amounts of them, it just means you'll have to work harder developing the infrastructure to sustain such a fleet, whilst the Alliance to Restore the Republic has the benefit of relatively low upkeep costs.

These things will tear through most Alliance frigates and cruisers like a knife through warm butter though - their firepower is immense; only the venerable Mon Calamari Cruisers have shields capable of resisting firepower of such magnitude for protracted periods of time!

I like how modders can take a game and make it look 100x more stunning than it ever was or would be... Its kinda like saying to Lucasarts "In your face!!!!!" :P

Description

A couple of screenshots from my work recently balancing in E3 (Galactic Civil War). There are many more available via our Twitter account (@UEaW), where media is posted on a more casual basis than Moddb.

The GUI is placeholder, new GUI is still in pipeline.
