looks really good ;)
I'm happy to read that the Marines become real-Space-Marines
Every time it was confusing that 30 guardsmen could kill 5-8 of them

Being a person who likes to play most of the non-space marine races this seems like if I face people playing space marines they will steamroll my infantry easily unless I also play space marines. Please tell me the other races will be balanced to be able to stand up against them.

I guess in terms of swarm races, get lots of meatshields up front and artillery in the back to get rid of the infantry. As for vehicles, you'll have to bring out all the stops and try to divert them from the main fighting force.

Space Marines and Chaos STILL seems to be pretty balanced. Regardless, they did become a relentless race now to counter. :)

Did you think about a relentless upgrade rsrch?
For commander?

What's your idea, mate?

In the commander based rsrch having a relentless icon to upgrade to relentless units, that way incorporating both styles of marines for the purposes of game play.

You should have all SBPs/EBPs renaming them with relentless in the front and adding the old ones in or adding the new ones to the old engine.

In TT game play not everything is relentless so an upgrade in the commander means it wont be straight away, hence no balance arguments.

It would be good to try them for a few releases as relentless, but if they get too strong use it as a Rsrch to allow them to become relentless at a certain point with a certain upgrade.

I might be suggesting to use the chapel barack in a way similar to the tau and eldar babbling I have been going on about, so chapel barracks can be recycles for the relentless as well as regular units.

2 options. or both at once.
Chapel barracks upgrade.
Commander research when auto upgrades chapel barracks.
Both together would be to have the commander do the research before the barracks could use the second rsrch option for relentless on it and produce Relentless warriors of the Imperium.

What does "relentless" mean in this context?
In the tabletop game it means you can move and fire heavy weapons in the same turn, but that makes no sense here.

"relentless" when I was thinking Eternal.

It's that damn Necron relentless statement that has stuck with me over several editions... :P

Generally making them harder to kill so they last longer... If you have been watching Necrons over the years you will see relentless mentioned a lot.
We'll be back stuff has been around for a while also.

With instant death protection it will make them harder to kill, hence the translation into Relentless that I picked up on in Doofus statement. I actually thought doofus was referencing 40k rules. :P

It should have been Eternal.

Thanks man. :)

I need to get some games of real 40k in, instead of modding and being a full time personal carer.

My FB image albums actually shows what army I am working on at the moment for 40k... and the last one shows the my main focus of purchase and budgeting. :P

As you can see by ModDB page they have been taking up a lot of my time. :P

Not a gui but you can hex out co-ords and hex in co-ords doing basically the same thing. :P

Everyone is so gui fanatical these days that the true 3d modeling programs hardly get used anymore.

Just like you can do with mudflaps tools editing the X after dumping out all the extra objects you aren't working on. :) Working in notepad.... Notepad the 3d editor. :P

This gui fanaticism confused me, as we have either devolved or not able to imagine what 3d changes we make in our minds. :P

Isn't that what the leveling is for?

That's what I have Warmachine/Hordes for. Too much 40k testing wears on the lack-of-soul.

Yep an alternate to using leveling and give you a certain level better level of veteran without the need of something called time. :)

Warmachine is actually a good game as well. :)
I actually intend to use the Cryx helljacks for dreadnoughts for my Black Legion,
Mixing them up with "????"fiend weapons. :)

Lucky you. My Scyrah troops/jacks don't really gel with my Tau stuff.

Then is it possible to buff the IG buildings like bunkers, so that the infantry is useful at least there and not only as a weak meat shield?

And also, is it possible to allow IG infantry to get inside the walls and shoot from there?

But the Terminators are already so slow, I thought if you made them any slower they'd stop moving altogether =P

Description

You're welcome, folks. :) Chaos was also applied the same thing!!!!

Introducicing Space Marines with new units, new Scouts, new grenade concepts, and fully buffed Space Marine squads.

* Space Marine Attack Bikes are now ingame!
* Scouts are now updated with the FOK models, and are now equipped with knives, bolters, shotguns, and Snipers for true codex style infantry.
* Deepstrike Beacon structure was added ingame!
* All Space Marine squads are now lesser in number, and slightly more expensive now with movement speed decreased slightly. However, huge buffs were applied to each, such as health, weapon damage, grenade buffs, knockdown mass, squad morale, and basic overall durability.
* Terminators are now the finest elite tier infantry in the entire game. Very durable and almost unstoppable as a small force. However they are now incredibly expensive, move slower and their squad loadout is further decreased.
