The structure those remind me of a shield from SC2 , that could work, tho i don't know if eldar had shield structures in the lore
I think they use holo-fields mostly.
Basically you could say they do since dow II is canon :-)
would be cool if this (when near your infantry) would redirect damage that your infantry would have taken and takes the damage itself (until destruction or drops below a certain health %). But for balance reasons is should slowly regenerate health other time rather than being able to be repaired by builders, auto repair, or IDH global auto repair.
What about, it boosts the health, speed, morale and fire rate of nearby infantry, and it can be teleported within a area around a webway, act as a defense boost with tactical micromanagement - you need your men and the structure together but strong defense, and if you construct a webway and teleport it in during a attack gives your guys a boost - I know eldar structures can teleport - but this would be instantaneous
Would be nice to have something defensive with the Eldar, like a shield or a kind of wall. Maybe a kind of antenna to call special defense assist from a nearby craftworld?
But it has ro be something defensive, because the eldar neeeeed something to to defend their self! (I don´t know if thats confirm with the lore, but anyway, Need Defensive stuff!)

Well, for me it should be something like additional armory which is required to advance into higher tier, maybe instead of khaine/cegorach shrine and should be mirrored in other races but not necessary as tier requirement. This could apply one aura with slight buff to nearby structures or units like those which websail currently posesses. Also it should contain some crucial researches which could replace commander's upgrades (by which I mean health/cap/ etc and not wargear) and also balance them a bit like 10% of global health (once) instead of letting every commander to buy it on his own. It should be like you build that and You have to make a choice beetween certain buffs, Your choice would be visible by illuminating aura in color corresponding to chosen buff so Your enemy would know if You have chosen unit cap, increased health or deacreased production time. Responding to ideas from guys which pointed their ideas already, some people wanted it so it creates shield shoots any kind of projectile but it wont really fit into lore and isnt really necessary especially that Eldars already have really potent turrets and ablitity to shroud and displace buildings. Instead, this building could have ability to cover nearby buildings in wraithbone once in a longer while to let them hold it for a bit longer.

Lore-wise there is suchb a thing in the Horus Heresy series, Novel 'The Primarchs'. The story about Ferrus Manus and the 3 eldar beacons he and 2 other Primarchs(vulkan and another guy) with legions are trying to destroy. Its a shield generator that can even withstand continuous artillery bombardment but is weaker to melee force weapons(warhammers and power claws are used to break through). I think it can be similar to the tau structure, except maybe stronger/more expensive ane similar to a void shield except it affects the are instead of just the structure.
