Twisted Insurrection is a critically acclaimed, standalone modification based on the Command & Conquer™ Tiberian Sun™ engine. It features a complete redesign of the original game, set in an alternate "what-if?" timeline where the Brotherhood of Nod was victorious during the first Tiberian War. Do you have what it takes to drag the shattered Global Defense Initiative out of ruin? Or will you crush all who oppose the will of Kane and his Inner Circle? The choice is yours commander.
Our Cinematics artist, Henskelion, has began trying his hand at some in-game rendered graphics to contribute to Twisted Insurrection further. These are some of his first products, the Twisted Dawn defenses. Currently there are 4 defenses complete and ready for the next update:
- Nod Turret
- Nod SAM Site
- GDI Guard ToweR
- GDI Advanced Guard Tower
All missions have been updated to compensate for these new structures and everything should be ready in time for the release this coming Wednesday!

These are pretty accurate recreations, so much more then the Return of the Dawn mod. =D!
It's mainly because it looks like it's trying to match TD's cutscenes while keeping TI style, instead of basing off of Renegade (I personally didn't like Renegade's designs, looked extremely low quality to me), and I think there's a perfect balance here.
Looking at it, RotD's everything looks like it's in some weird perspective.
And their proportions were weird too... Like, Adv Guard Tower and Obelisk were ******* colossal in it compared to everything else... And took 3x3 I think.
