What was Tumultus? Tumultus Deathmatch began as an experiment, with the sole aim of producing a comminity made mod. The story was set and anyone could produce anything and learn new things as they went along. This was all well and good, and it almost succeeded too. What is Tumultus? The premise is the same, most of the weapons are the same, with a few new surprises ;) The team has shrunk to a few dedicated members working on this mod alone, and everything is getting an overhaul.

people sure is fun though.
Do they smoke?
they kinda fizzle and writhe and die and a smoke cloud goes up. it's pretty much the same effect as what you get when shooting someone with the secondary fire of the ar, that big bouncing balls that disintergrates people... only we've contained that into a portable laser weapon that fires a particle beam instead. The weapons has a somewhat limited range, so you're gonna have to get withing a reasonable distance to disintergrate people with it, it does do a lot of damage in a pretty short time though, it is also self charging, so you never run out of ammo, and of course if you need to get that little extra hight on your jump, get out of a sticky situation, slap that secondary fire and make use of the personal gravity field giving you low gravity until you run out of ammo or turn it off.
