The player (Gordon) is running through the Black Mesa facility and into the Xen world bringing destruction with him. Exploring the possibilities of what went on during this time, the Vortigaunt are still unaware as to who is who (good or bad, the prophecy), Freeman or Gman. The Vortigaunt perceive Freeman (Gordon) as the destroyer of worlds and the Gman as the saviour. Until they realise that Gordon ‘is’ the saviour they will continue to battle against him until they find the truth.
Description
This patch fixes most issues related to engine branch incompatibility and is designed to run using the latest "Beta" of Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer. Instructions on how to install and use it are within the archive.

I've been playing the mod and got to the end of Chapter 3 (Inner Workings). After I killed all of the vortigaunts (8 of them) around the main portal, a new portal appears to connect with the other one. I cannot proceed to next chapter through it. Nothing happens as I approach or jump through it.
I just opened the console and typed "map a1_transitions_4" and played the last chapter.

The time I tested this mod, no game flow issue was found.
Are you sure that this is a bug, and not that you could be lost throughout the level?

I checked the same guy's walkthrough to make sure about my issue.

At the end of the video, player can get to other level, but it does not work for me.
You can't imagine how long it took for me to try another way out over and over again. After giving up at the end, I checked the walkthrough, and I became sure about the bug.
