RELEASED NEW VERSION (Rome Reborn): Ever wanted to play an alternative history were the Greeks dominated the world instead of the Romans? This is your chance to set things right and take the lead of the freedom loving Greeks. In this alternative history scenario Thrace conquered the world during the Hellenistic era instead of Rome. This massive Thracian empire has now come into turmoil with several governors rising up in rebellion. You can lead one of the major five families and try to reunite the broken empire. There is a fantasy element too since you can play with the Amazons and the Kingdom of Atlantis. This mod was made up of elements from several other mods. The most important were: VE, Illyria Reborn, SwanMod, HRTW, Amazon: Total War and many more small addon units mods. All creative and exploitation rights belong to Sega and their rightful owners. This mod is for non-profit and free to use. To launch the game use modswitch. Note: Hydra = main mod.

Description

A continuation of the original hydra mod. Rome is reintroduced as a playable faction. Roman textures are from the VE (vanilla extended) mod. Many settlements have been added bringing the total to 165 regions. Unit cost and upkeep is higher to balance the game. Roman generals have Greek names (giving that Rome was within this alternative universe under Greek occupation). The Seleucids have been moulded into the Ionian League, Massilia is now Syracuse and the Greek Cities are the Lacedemonian Empire. Use Mod Switch with Steam to activate the mod.

Small fix from the first upload. Had forgotten to link the textures in the descr_model_battle. Send me a message if there are any other problems.
