The right weapon should be for the firestorm should be a powerful laser that fires every 6-7 seconds.

Maybe the Firestorm could fire a flaming molten sphere similar to that shot from the Ragnarok or Ymir (one of the two) in Mech Assault 2?

Edit: Sorry, didn't notice the 1.16 at the bottom (which I haven't yet been able to play).

i really like both mech's but the one to the right is just beautiful and i really hope you don't change the weapon loadout. that is if they are all cannons, or the two huge ones are cannons and the...
actually. the two top big ones took like cannons, the small cannon like barrel on the right side of the mech looks like either a small caliber cannon or a small railgun, and as for the double barreled thing on the left side of it looks like a medium caliber autocannon. and finally the little thing under its cockpit looks like a regular machine gun or a small minigun

one question though. are these experimental tech mechs??

and that's it, really good work so far and i hope you are successful in the future

EDIT: i just saw the Description :p so don't worry about my question about them being experimentals

yeah, alright. thanks for sharing your worthless comment and opinion. Is that really all you could come up with? lol... trolls these days. If you wanna be a troll you gotta do better than that. Do it like this:
Too bad your opinion doesnt mean **** to neither me or anyone else here on moddb, all you ever do is post ****** comments of other peoples work. Whats the matter...? Are you jealous of people that do 3d art, since apparantly all you do is 2d artwork. Im surprised you even have internet living in a tight ****** up jungle... now crawl back into whatever palmtree you live in, and crack yourself a coconut and enjoy your "fine" life in peace and loneliness...

There, thats how you troll. And before you begin to comment again, Im sorry for being so mean... I really am, but what I wrote is just my true opinion.
By the way, Korea is awesome!

lol... come to think of it, Im probably just overreacting. Ive had a few glasses to many tonight, so I blame that. Everyone has a right of an opinion, but I found your comment to be downright rude, vietanhussr. I mean you could atleast tell the author what you dont like about it. I myself dont see much differences in design from the Titan and these mechs, Ofcourse the shapes are different, but the design itself... You know, its not really funny to spend hours of work, and then get shot down for no apparant reason. Belive it or not, it takes atleast 5 hours to make only one of these mechs. And some mechs take over 10 hours. So its only natural that we modders want more constructive feedback, rather than "so ugly!"
aw well, enough of this. I still think my previous comment is pretty funny though... lol xD
goodnight moddb!

For some reason i actually think calling some UEF units ugly is a compliment, like "ugly and foreboding as conceivable, so that fear itself will be our ally" level of awesome stuff. :P

Which is why I think the Atlas would be an excellent UEF 'mech.

I like the design. I actually like all of your designs no lie.

Hey on a side note. Burnie do you happen to know what game engine they used to make this game? I been trying to find a decent 3d RTS engine that has a similar zoom in and out function like this one but that provides for multiple worlds happening in one game. For example a survival RTS where an underground world is simultaneously running as well as the upper world. Just wondering if you know of a good game engine thats all.

hey there, thanks :D
Supreme commander uses a game engine called Moho (lol... what were they smoking?...)
and sadly I dont know of any other games with the same zoom function as supcom, or the simultaneous gameplay you seek :(

You could also try an oldie rts game named metal fatigue had a ground underground and orbital layer all rolling at once its pretty hardish to find and to get it to work but depends on wether or not you want it badly enough

as others have said, i see you don't put out anything with poor work! great models, textures, and you even make your own sounds for them! don't worry about the haters, as usual with life when someone does great things others will be jealous. @vision305 i distinctly remember a game for consoles (x-box 360) way back when they were still trying to see if they could get rts's to work ok on controllers. it had EXACTLY what you were talking about as far as multiple levels of combat (hell there was one level in a mission that had a huge underground complex with multiple levels PLUS the above ground entrance which you had to defend as you took it over) you could control what level you were looking at by pressing keys to the side of the hud i believe. the two combatants were a terran-esk race and a zerg-like creature race. the graphics were amazing and story line ok plus it had skirmish but it's controls and ai failed hard and i think that's what killed it. cant remember the damn name though. lol

ah hah! iv found the title, its stormrise for x-box 360. not entirely sure if it ever saw pc or ps3. it had TERRIBLE ratings (understandably as the controls and ai were pitiful) but the things it excelled on were multiple levels of combat, with HUGE battlefields (inside and tops of buildings, underground bunkers, large military installations, multiple level highways) which really amazed me but good look seeing, and controlling your units inside them as its camera controls sucked too. the ai would get stuck on things sometimes as well so it seemed the ai had poor path-finding too.

Description

To the left: Firestorm, a tech 2 experimental armed with 2 light lasers, a 4 barreled auto-gauss cannon, and a undecided weapon.
to the right: Argus, an experimental mech, armed to the teeth, not much more needs to be said about this one ;)
you just have to see it ingame... :P
