This is the second release of the new MP mode. Based for Singleplayer and Multiplayer custom battles ONLY! The MP mode hasn't any CAMPAIGN!
AUTO - INSTALLER.
Follow Instructions below!
Factions will include certain conflict timeframes (era's). First era is era 4 (1860's).
Install: INSTALLER
1. Extract the "TotalFotS_MPmode_0.000488_installer.7z" and open the extracted folder (USE 7zip!).
2. Run the "TotalFotSMpmode.exe" and follow the instructions (if your Anti-Virus blocks the executable because it thinks that has a Trojan or Virus, do not worry about it. The executable has no issues at all!).
If you have Shogun 2 installed on a different HD, then use the "browse" button to locate the Shogun 2 data folder. Otherwise continue the installation.
3. Finish the Installation.
4. Run the game and activate the totalf_...pack files with mod manager.
5. Enjoy the game!
What is included in the second release?
- Era 4 factions (1860's) of the Second Franco - Mexican War conflict (1861 - 1867) and as before the American Civil War conflict (1861 - 1865).
- Era 5 factions (1870's) of the Anglo - Zulu War conflict (1879).
- The American Civil war factions (CSA and USA) are included in this release.
- The Second Franco - Mexican war factions (The French Expeditionary Force of the Second Empire, The (Second) Mexican Republican forces and the (Second) Imperial Mexican forces are included in this release.
- The Anglo - Zulu war factions (British Empire Natal forces and the Zulu Kingdom) are included in this release.
- New battlemaps have been added/revamped and removed (some made by other map makers (but customized to fit the mod), see credit list).
- New battle mechanics (stats) that will form the base for other Total FotS projects.
- New models (units, buildings, artillery, etc...).
- And more

Delete the following folder in the Appdata (C:\Users\user_name\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Shogun2): advice_history, army_setups, battle_preferences, editor_fx_cache, fx_cache, logs, replays (backup your replays from vanilla game first (or mods). scripts (user.script ONLY!), ui_cache.
This resets the game when you get unexpected ctd's!
Hello, sorry for the question. But which "Mod Manager" do you recommend?
I am totally new to using Mods. So I just searched for one and installed.
When running the game and starting the Mod Manager a window appears:
"Could not find Shogun.exe at c/program files(x86)/steam\common\total war shogun 2\Shogun2.exe
Quitting Mod Manger.."

normally the modmanager is installed automatically when you download Shogun 2/Fots game. Use that one.

mod to remove. after installation, it turned out that it does not have a campaign and the battles are getting out of the system. I was hoping that after removing the mod I would play the game normally, and here is such a shaft. even reinstalling the game didn't help, it keeps crashing to the system. The last time I had this was with the empire mod. only formatting the drive did the trick. don't move the mod like it's contaminated. unless you are planning a format (I haven't played empire for 2 years, I didn't have to format it because of the virus)
It's an MP mode not a campaign mod (read description). The installer doesn't have any viruses or so. So it's not the fault of the mod nor the installer.
so I have used the automatic install for the mod and it doesn't appear on the mod manager. can you help.
If it doesn't appear in the modmanager, that means it isn't been correctly installed.
this mod is one of the greatest addition to games on victorian age which are not very popular, so thank you a lot for your amazing mod! looking forward for prussia!
