Total Chaos is a total conversion mod for Doom 2 that runs on the GZDoom source port. The mod is a survival horror set on a remote island known as Fort Oasis. The island was once run by a community of coal miners which one day suddenly disappeared, leaving behind the abandoned concrete jungle to waste away. Something, clearly, has gone very wrong with this place. Upon your arrival at Fort Oasis, you receive a strange radio transmission. Someone wants to be found.

Many inventory items shouldn't even weigh half of what they do, an apple however rotten does not weigh half a kilo unless its the size of a baseball, same with a syringe, metal or otherwise.

Many inventory items shouldn't take up as much space as they do, the scissors, wrench, hammer and knife should only take up half of what they do currently. I understand it is a balancing issue between having good weapons and the ability to hold said weapons but a knife should not take up the same space (or even more so) as a shotgun.

Adversely weapons like the shotgun, sledge hammer or axe could take up more inventory space, say two vertical and three horizontal. While this may adversely affect the inventory management an extra column or row might help to remedy this.

Also to note could the Rations hold 3 uses? It is 'enough food for three people', perhaps a lesser effect on hunger and stamina could help to balance it.

Perhaps a magazine system for the pistol? (boxed ammo loaded into empty magazine, empty magazine added to inventory upon reloading. (Also while i end up finding a lot of pistols there's never any ammo in them making them next to worthless...)

A faster way to transfer items to the combine menu or combining in general?. (Ctrl-Click?)
