You will play as a high ranking officer supervising a patrol on the outskirts of a small town. Developed single-handedly by Robin "IZaNaGI" Molde (TITAN: XCIX, Jailbreak!: Source, Survival Mod II for JK:JA), Players will face many challenges that will test their brains rather than their trigger fingers. Requires Half-Life 2: Episode Two
Personal Data Pads belonging to the ships crew, can be found among the halls of Titan: XCIX. These PDP's contain information of both the crews thoughts and feelings, as well as information about the extended universe beyond the ship.
Apologies for any grammatical errors.
tldr
Then ... i've got a sneaking suspicion this mods not going to be for you ;) Hey, Thanks for taking a moment of your time to post that though!
nah i read it but i suggest you shorten it to include only the neccesary information. im assuming the captain of the ship or whoever would have already been briefed of this information. The first part about the VSS Titan has nothing to do with your mission?
Indeed, members of the crew would have been briefed this information, but this isn't directed at the crew, it's directed at new players to help immerse themselves in the extended back story.
I could remove a lot of the extra information found within the entire story, but i could just as easily hope that some players that don't understand my intentions could suspend there disbelief, and allow themselves to be drawn in ... plus, who says the information isn't relevant, in the grand scheme of things :)
Thanks again!
The more the merrier!
so its like the PDA's in Doom 3.
Where you collect them.
Looks good
Very much so. They could be ignored completely if a player prefers, but there are currently 10 (or 11, i forget) PDP's within the mod for players to hunt down, alongside other points of interest.
Looks good ;)
tracking. a hl2 mod that's NOT in the hl universe! 0.o lol, thanks for the hard work! it looks good mate!
I found these things to be hard to read, because of the small area that a large amount of text is squeezed into, combined with the low color contrast between the text and its background. Having larger, scrollable text might help.
