This modification offers an alternative gameplay to Tiberian Wars involving many Tiberian Sun units which many CnC fans (like me) missing in vanilla CNC3 and add even new my made units which you can't find anywhere else. Story is quite the same like Tiberian Wars, but is all about what if GDI and Nod do not abandon technologies they have used in Tiberian Sun era and instead of that further developed them. But it's not only that, there are many visual, sound and balance changes which I want to see and hear in my mod, new sounds, new music, new effects (like blood and gore, new infantry deaths, new more realistic missile trails) and many more.

OK, just in case the resamblence is not that good as i think, this is famous (or infamous) veinhole monster. Its not the same as you may remeber. Due certain problems im reluctant to make it grow infinitely across map. Also its not harvestable, but that may be changed. So right now it works like path blocator for certain units (like vehicles) and it can be destroyed just like TS version (but you need some major firepower to do that). Also its decoraion that may return some memories ;)
This is the msot awesome thing I have seen in C&C3. Carnius, you continue to amaze me even after all this time!
Its really derpy. The TS engine had all things from spreading tiberium, advanced underground movement, dynamic ion and meteorstorms and advanced transportation units (Aka Orca transport being able to transport 5 units, not just one and so forth), and all that is from the early 2000s. EA made an engine in 3D that looks more shiny, but its not nearly as advanced, which I just find funny.
Yeah, Westwood was another story than EA. If I had few extra millions of dollars, I would try to bring the old team back.
If TS wasn't that rushed it could of have been even more advanced. Lots of stuff got cut or unfinished and half working.
Veinhole monster and Veins are looking really good me likes.
Of course, that bunch actually knew what they wanted out of the bloody thing.
EA just wants to milk it for all the shiny '$' signs it can get out of it.
I guess its more to do with coding if anything. Don't forget this is the same engine more or less that renegade is using. And it dates back to 2001. But most of original code isn't even the same probably by cnc3. I don't think they intended the Sage engine for vienhole monsters and whatnot. Since even for 2003 that stuff was pretty unheard of in a first person shooter or RTS. But with TS the engine is 2d based. And the coding was set-up for things like Orca transports and whatnot. Well thats what i think. Though the Sage engine in general is mod friendly so. What wasn't possible or intended then. Doesn't mean it isn't now with abit of skill and knowledge :)
Looks awesome! I am guessing it would have to be added manually to existing CNC campaign maps, any chance we could see an advanced bioweapon version of this unlockable at teir 3/4 at a mutant hub or something? Reguardless, as is it will make cnc 3 mapping even more awesome!

omg weeds are back. i thought it was impossible, now all we need is the NOD weed-eater (hope for tiberium nuke maybe?). Do the veins do vehicle damage?
The veins need a little more color saturation.
can you bring add predator tank?
Epic work.. Maybe make the veins a little more orange. Not sure how well that would look ingame but it would be closer to the original. Or even better add a 2nd variant for the mapper to choose from so one in this color and one more in orange.
