The fine individuals who have brought you C&C Tiberian Dawn Redux and Tiberian Sun Redux for CnC Zero Hour, have decided to switch over to CnC 3 to give you a more Tiberian Sun themed mod then they could on Generals Zero Hour. The mod will feature all of the Original Tiberian Sun and Firestorm units, together with new never seen before Forgotten units and structures, GDI and Nod Tiberian Dawn Timeline units and structures you can capture on the battlefield or even if you want play as them, and remove those Hightech egg-heads from the battlefield. With all this extra firepower a new faction have arrived, little to none information is available at the time for what there purpose is in this war, but we will find out soon.
With four powerful engines and a massive hold, the Dropship is the next generation cargo plane. It has full VTOL capability and can fly into a combat zone to deploy substantial GDI forces nearly instantly. In fact, it can even ferry the dreaded Mammoth Mk. II.
A number of dropships were equipped with atmospheric entry thermal shields and significantly more powerful engines, allowing them to land on the GDSS Philadelphia. They are known to crash during Ion storms, like all other aircraft.
