Will work like tech buildings for skirmish? Maybe can be captured and repaired?

No, these are just eye-candy, at least for now.

Hi. Unfortunately I have no more information about TI's current state than you do. Given the lack of updates or communication, I think it's safe to assume it's in a hiatus.

It's kinda sad that these never get used in mods. It'd be cool to use them to find old blueprints that were abandoned after the first Tiberium War that can be utilized by the commanders, like the original Mammoth Tank or the Light/Medium tanks.

I think it would be strange for GDI and Nod to have lost their own technology like that. For them, tech from the first war simply became obsolete over time. Scavengers like the Forgotten might still find something of value in there, though.

i think the best use would be to have them act like crates with negative and good outcomes from capture.
Bad outcomes like a bunch of tib lifeforms spawning cause the building was infested with tiberium, or it spawns some mutants, or it simply explodes violently. Good outcomes like pp giving some power after capture, refinery giving money or becoming silo, same with silo. I think it would be awesome if the advanved old powerplant had chances if one or two turbines are still working. Spawning some TD vehicles for you to command or capture. Structure autorepair after capturing old conyard. Really no ideas what temple or barracks could give, im sure you figure something out if you think this idea is good.

Description

Time waits for no man... or a building.

The old Tiberian Dawn ruins always struck me as having been rather lazily done. They were ported straight to TS despite the apparent difference in scale, then covered in some dirt and cracks. They lack unique damage frames and have some palette issues.

To rectify this, I've upscaled the ruins by 50%, added proper damage frames, fixed the palette issues, and added entirely new ruins to the set like the GDI Weapons Factory and Nod Airstrip.

This expanded set of TD ruins will appear in some maps in the next update.
