The Tiberian Sun Client is a complete, stand-alone Tiberian Sun package for both players and modders. It fixes all known (fixable) bugs in Tiberian Sun and offers a ton of new functionality, including a new easier-to-mod file structure, new game options and pre-defined starting locations and teams. With the Client's bugfixes and enhancements, Tiberian Sun players get a significantly enhanced experience compared to the original game, while enjoying gameplay exactly identical to the original game. For modders starting a new Tiberian Sun mod, it is not required, but highly recommended that you begin with installing the TS Client. The new file structure directly exposes the most critical INI and MIX files of the game, meaning that you don't need to download any special tools for most basic modding.
Rated 9/10 because it is a simple yet flawless project that everyone new to the field of modding should look at. I kept it one point out of 10 because it's, unfortunatelly, still quite incomplete.

A job well done by bringing back tiberian sun to its glory. New skirmish options + harder AI really increases replayability of TS. Only thing I miss is Random map generator, but then again its a small sacrifice for huge benefits.
Great system, love the option to set teams before the game starts. I do miss the random map generator though.
Since this is now a standalone mod/game. It is like getting a good old car with overhaul done. I like it, so should you !

This client is a revolutionary piece of work, it really breathes in some new life into one of the best games in history, and it is equally brilliant for modding too! As can be seen in Twisted Insurrection or the DTA mod!
While I do not support the idea of merging Tiberian Sun and Firestorm in general, this is good assistance for modding, especially with the fixes provided. Should be particularly useful for partial/total conversions.
