"War... War never changes. The reasons why we fight these wars remain much the same; some are fought to conquer, for religious and ideological beliefs, other wars are fought over gold, oil, spices – natural resources and money. Power is the key element. This war is no different - except there's nothing natural about Tiberium. The year is 1995 and we have just begun to open up our eyes to view a brave new future, some will come to say it's a horrific future. It is the Dawn of the Tiberian future." --- Tiberian Dawn is a total-conversion for the game Command & Conquer: Tiberium Wars. The Surface-to-Air Missile Site is a deadly bane to enemy aircraft, for it can destroy them quickly using its unlimited missile supply. Do note that when the SAM site is firing, its internal mechanisms are exposed from its heavy shielding, which can make it an easy target for GDI, if timed properly.
The S.A.M. Site was modeled by Ric, and textured by Soviet_Deso.
Did you make the actual launcher intentionally that bright? I realize that it´s white in TD but the skin on the gunboat looks much better for that geometry IMO. Perhaps you can tweak it a bit to look less artificial.
Awesome model! but in C&C only 1 side of the rocket patches opened up to fire. Not all 6!
lol, that was merely a demo, the launcher will open its hatches as needed ;)
do you have eany idea of a release date?
the best rocket luncher ever....very good model...texture of the luncher could be a little bit darker..."Golan" is right !
Another detail to keep in mind is the fact that this image does not have the ingame Nod shaders applied, which does end up darkening the overall model.
