"War... War never changes. The reasons why we fight these wars remain much the same; some are fought to conquer, for religious and ideological beliefs, other wars are fought over gold, oil, spices – natural resources and money. Power is the key element. This war is no different - except there's nothing natural about Tiberium. The year is 1995 and we have just begun to open up our eyes to view a brave new future, some will come to say it's a horrific future. It is the Dawn of the Tiberian future." --- Tiberian Dawn is a total-conversion for the game Command & Conquer: Tiberium Wars. Our goal is to bring C&C1;to a new engine, with enhanced features and graphics while also bringing back much of the classic style of gameplay while not taking steps back from what C&C3;implemented in the series as gameplay features. This is not of course our only goal - the idea of the total-conversion was inspired by an art piece by Godwin that showed the cruelty and bitter humanity of...

Uhm, I know this is maybe a stupid question, but is there a possibility to have a bit difference between the 2 conyards? Yes I know, in TD there was no difference since it was the same building, but in TW it would possibly be good to have a small indicator which Conyard it actually is (except GDI and Nod use the excact same ConYard). Maybe a faction logo on top of the building?

I am sure that Nod would adore painting a big target on the roof of thir primary production structure ;)

And anyways, the shaders do significantly tint the Nod assets, it would be difficult to mix the two up.

Lol. During Tiberium Sun, The Brotherhood Of Nod, have a pyramid with the damn insignia on it. How do you miss that?

Description

Known as the Base's seed by Nod, the Conyard appropriately is the source of all structures, and therefore all production, defense and economy. Without its existence on the battlefield, one can never expand to conquer a map.

The Construction Yard was modeled by Ric using the concept by Dimitri. It was then textured by Soviet_Deso.
