"War... War never changes. The reasons why we fight these wars remain much the same; some are fought to conquer, for religious and ideological beliefs, other wars are fought over gold, oil, spices – natural resources and money. Power is the key element. This war is no different - except there's nothing natural about Tiberium. The year is 1995 and we have just begun to open up our eyes to view a brave new future, some will come to say it's a horrific future. Allot of action in the GDI campaign was around urban areas and despite the fact that the civil population may have fled a police presents in the area would have to be maintained, the Riot Bundespolizei show above may be conducting operations to evacuate refugees, or preventing looters, or quell Civil-disturbances, possibly even aiding the UN “Giddy Ups” in peacekeeping operations.

These combatants: the Riot Police and the Mercenary, are original works of Collins, that we will be using in Tiberian Dawn. You will notice that he likes to include his own touch to the concept art, like the raccoon city logo on the mercenary, lol. We hope that these additional personalities can give additional "oomph" to the mod, in how they are implemented.
