Tiberian Apocalypse is a Partial Conversion for Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars with the goal to create a true Tiberian Sun sequel. GDI, Nod and the Scrin are getting a complete overhaul.
I've refurbished the Firehawk. Completely new UV Map and Texture. Now it just needs a role.
Really good, futuristic jet. Will the green and red lights on the wings flash?
........Cool and futuristic indeed.
Well, the old role was interceptor/bomber. Maybe it can take on the role of the A-10 of C&C95 and offer support power bombing runs and/or support power air coverage? Both, maybe.
Orca Bomber should be the replacement for the A-10s
you cant replace an A-10, Orca Bomber doesnt scratch the surface of the awesomeness of the A-10 though i quite believe the firehawk should be a support power unit, it never was a convincing VTOL
Yeah, I like the thought of keeping things in line with the original intent, if somewhat modified to compensate for sensibility.
Ground attack aircraft does seem to be more of the Firehawk's role. It always seemed more of a ground attack aircraft (and CAS) than it did an air superiority fighter/interceptor.
I agree that it should continue the legacy of the A-10.
LOVELY! good to see this awesome unit back!
yeah im with land attack too! with choice of bombing or anti tank missile!
this jet will looks awesome when it fly to enemy and shoot 4 missiles which leave a nice trail :D
It fires 6 missiles.
even more awesome :D
So many intakes!
And why does it look like something of a swing wing?
Because its wings do in fact swing.
Ooooh my.
Ooooh yeeees.
What if it was a late game bomber the fact it has the capability to shoot aircraft and bomber it would be a good late game replacment to the orca and the orca bomber which are early game
DAT AFT!!!
In all honesty however its a beautiful model. This was one of the few times I felt that dat aft was an apt enough description haha
I prefer it to fill the role of a dive bomber, something like the aurora in Generals. It's impervious to attack while diving in, but becomes vulnerable once it drops its payload
I think it fits well as a multi-role fighter than being dedicated to either a fighter or bomber.
i miss the double cockpit!
Nah, I think the Firehawk should be strictly a dogfighter. You could support this role by adding more missles but make them less damaging and maybe a machine gun for when the missles run out. We already have bombers. However, we don't have strong pin-point bombers so I see why you would want one
The Orca Interceptor already covers the Air Superiority role...
very nice jet you have there :D I need to make my own lol ^_^
Nice model, but the port/starboard lights are mixed up; it should be green for right (starboard) and red for left (port).
The red is supposed to be on the port side (left from the pilot's perspective)
VariableGeometry Wings?
