As usual, you cannot see neither the normalmap nor the specular map effects, as I haven't found a way to render the normalmap propperly in 3ds max...

This is a really good solid model; I especially like the 'normal' sized weapon and the viewfinder. The texture complements it all very well too, and the small details are impressive too.

However, I may of spotted an 'error': Underneath the turret are two separate small sloping things, however they are different lengths making the model appear unbalanced, is this intended?

Yes, it is intended. The left side of the tank is slightly heavier than the right, so those parts additionally help balancing the tank.

Interesting, is there actually any model based reason, or not? Personally I think it would look better both sides the same, but its a nice twist, non the less.

No, it won't. But it can fire either missile per missile or barrages.
