Thrawn's Revenge is a large-scale mod for Empire at War: Forces of Corruption. It includes the events of the Galactic Civil War after Palpatine's death at Endor, up until the signing of the Pellaeon-Gavrisom treaty. If you own the Steam version of EaW, you will have to complete extra steps to run the mod after installation. Please see the manual for these steps.

ah, the battle of Orinda artwork... if the ST would have any brains, they would've put that into the movies... possibly the greatest SW Space battle artwork.

I'd rather have originality then copy stuff from the EU.

I'll stick with fan art if I want the EU depicted visually.

what originality in the ST?

TFA is ANH reloaded
TLJ is just crap
RoS is RotJ reloaded mixed with Dark Empire and KotoR (the Force Bond)

Give them a little credit. At least Sidious didn’t build another Death Star(the fleet of oversized super laser Star Destroyers weren’t a great improvement no matter how cool it looked.) also, do the First/Final order have like Tony Stark as their R&D head, because their tech went crazy upwards in three short decades

Description

We've been slowly updating a lot of the models in Imperial Civil War and @Fall of the Republic, generally moving some poly budgets from shadow meshes, simplifying those, to the base meshes, to get a lot more definition onto units. This has happened with most of the Imperial roster over 2.2 to 2.3, but one of the units which *hasn't* had that so far is the Executor, which is still using a very old model. I've recently started a new model for it, and I'll post some work in progress shots as I go. The closeup picture here got clipped a bit at the back corner (this is three renders stitched together).

While obviously the movie models are the main reference, I'm also taking a lot of inspiration from the Battle of Orinda picture linked below, since details like the exaggerated skirting (which you can see in the renders) will stand out a lot better ingame.
