Thrawn's Revenge is a large-scale mod for Empire at War: Forces of Corruption. It includes the events of the Galactic Civil War after Palpatine's death at Endor, up until the signing of the Pellaeon-Gavrisom treaty. If you own the Steam version of EaW, you will have to complete extra steps to run the mod after installation. Please see the manual for these steps.

Is there a chance that you would add the MC80 wingless?

Uh, isn't the "Home One"-type the "wingless" MC80 already?

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong or missing something, but there are five different MC cruisers I remember from Legends and all of those are already included in the mod:

- MC40a medium cruiser
- MC80 "wingless" aka Home One- or Defiance-class
- MC80 (in some sources also called MC80a) Liberty-class
- MC80b Mon Remonda-class
- MC90 Galactic Voyager-class.

I'm obviously not counting the Mediator- and Viscount-class as those are Battlecruiser/Dreadnought scale.

The Wingless MC80 and Home One type are different, Wingless is basically the Liberty without wings. We have no plans to reintroduce it to the mod, it wouldn't do anything the Liberty doesn't already do.

Its just nice for first era variety. Looking at a dozen winged MCs and one homeless in a fleet always looks so dry. Especially since the Mon cals were well known for different looking craft

Description

While the Mon Calamari models aren't receiving quite the same level of attention as some of their Imperial counterparts which have been entirely redone for 2.2, there were a few quick updates Dr Knickers has made in order to bring up their graphical fidelity a fair bit, and bring them a bit more into line with other models. As I say, they're not completely rebuilt, which may eventually be necessary, but things like a new cleaner base texture, some extra model details and light updates, and better ambient occlusion have helped their individual details stand out a lot more. Here we have the MC90 and Home One, with the Liberty and MC80B coming later (the MC80B is the most likely to be completely rebuilt).

2.1 on the left, 2.2 on the right.
