OMG this is awesome...is it actually gonna work like the movie with 7 sets of defendable walls?? if so that would be a bitch to capture
the time it would take to push outof mordor, take osgiliath, the 3 forts around pelanor and mass a army big enough to capture this city would be staggering... needless to say im definitly setting it to unlimited battle time limit lol. id give me an hour just to take the first 2 levels. that is if they have archer, spearmen, soldiers, fountain guards, trebuchets and generals in numbers enough to hold me out... even though im sure a few hobbits w/ rocks could beat me off with...w8 beat me off? eww. regardless I LOVE IT
It's shame that there can't be 20 000+ armies in medieval 2 engine...
My PC can't handle that much......Shogun 2 can support 48,000 troops. Lets hope they got modding tool, cause it look sick even in pre-alpha footage.
i just attacked minas w/ 30000 so dont say that! it was pretty laggy though lol. and im bankrupt from the upkeep lol
is there anyway y'all can make the Archers shoot directly down at the enemy while on the walls? because I hate how they just shoot straight up at an enemy unit. so ineffective...
Leave it to modders to create the LOTR game that i always fantasized about as a child. shame on you EA for never getting battle for middle earth on par with this
This will be epic, when you get to fight at Minas Tirith. Might even have Denethor diving off the top for a bit of added effect ;) I hope the release for 3.0 is not too far away!
wait, when i play on a campaign mode, i get a M:TW type of fortress, not this, is this because it's only available in the fellowship of the ring?
