Galadhrim pikemen?
Just my opinion but each faction usually lacks some sort of units, which they compensate by being better at something else.
Should the Galadhrim get pikes? I would recommend better two handers, but I am not the developer :)

I see your point of view but I think you are confusing what I am saying.
First, those are spears not pikes, second that is the Imladris Elves.
I am talking about the Galadhrim Elves which mostly refers to the elves of Lorien.
Entirely refers to the Elves of Lorien, but in the second picture provided, those are Galadhrim of Lorien. Guards of the Galadhrim Court as designed by Games Workshop.
Actually some Galadhrim left for the undying lands and some for Dol Amroth, that is why I said mostly Lorien.
I am aware of the unit of the unit from Games Workshop, but I though that the developers had tried to keep Lorien based of the books and movies.
It is just my opinion, that there is a trait that makes each faction unique, Isengard with pikes, Elves with Bows, Dwarves with infantry, but this is just my opinion.
I personally would leave the Galadhrim without pikes, but I am not the developer. It is their choice, I just made a small suggestion :)

the galadrim pike is limited to 1 or 2 probably... so technically they still dont have a pike focus.
That is very good to hear. It would be weird to have a person commanding the Galadhrim and fighting Uruk Hai pikemen with Galadhrim pikes. What you will do will still keep it somewhat balanced.
A question though, I have heard you tubers say and I think their point is fair that the Galadhrim roster lack some super elite melee units like the High Elves and Wood Elves do, their best unit is the Galadhrim Veterans, and playing all three factions I can confirm that they do miss some elite melee units which the other Elven factions do have.
Do you agree, or is this done on purpose? If you have time can you please explain?
technically the balancing is not finished yet, in 0.92 it will be very different according to everyone involved with the stats. that is all i can say for now, woodland realm is also Abit overpowered in 0.91 which will be fixed next patch too. so lorien should be able to compete with the other elf factions, we want the game to finish off with every faction being able to have 1 or 2 viable play styles that work against most factions they face. so yeah balancing.. tedious work ^^
We can only imagine, keep up the good work! People were complaining about a release date, well good things take time :)
