Thievery UT Team has given some information on the upcoming 1.3 patch. Here'are some screenies and info on the new maps coming in this update.

  • Th-Stronghold:
  • Ed Duke-Cox brings us this lovely looking Thievery map. Lord Denheim is at war. His strong stone keep is heavily guarded, with the doors bolted tight. With his troop's campfires and tents pitched around his stronghold, getting inside might be tricky, but getting inside is exactly what a small group of cutthroat thieves have in mind. Working under orders from Denheim's enemy, this is a mission of espionage.

  • Th-Warehouse:
  • Th-Warehouse is a new map from the hands of TheAlbaniac. It has the guards posted at Sir Giles' Warehouse on the edge of town, where they have to keep an eye on the valuable goods that pass through. Sir Giles is known for being trusted to look after even the most expensive items. With the top floor of his house currently being converted into a personal vault area, now might be an ideal time to have a look around...

  • Th-Bourgeois:
  • oRGy and LG have been busy updating this original Thievery map. The update features an expanded city, a sketchmap and better organised loot.

The game code has also been improved, with many tweaks and bugfixes. They've optimised the bandwidth used for a bunch of things, which should hopefully reduce the lag peaks you get whenever a player joins midgame. They'll be adding new player taunts/speeches and making these bindable for ease of use. The transparency of thieves have been improved, there's a period of spawn protection, Thiefmatch has been given a boost with the addition of fire arrows and a more adversarial objective, plus much more.
