Hello everyone,

i installed the Thief Gold HD Mod according to all steps mentioned in this thread: Moddb.com ,but i have got an error text box when i click to one of the buttons of NewDark Graphics Settings.
Translating it into English (i am from Poland btw) it says, that "The script application for the script C:\ThiefG\setting_files\postprocessing_on.vbs couldn't be found". It is something connected with VBScript.dll i think, but i'm not sure.

I made a full instalation of Thief Gold, i have Windows Vista OS.

The game folder is located in C:\ThiefG.

How i could fix that error?

I appreciate any help, thank You in advance :).

Jakub

EDIT: I fixed this error myself, thanks to the information that i found in this thread: Triplescomputers.com

Now i am going to finally test the NewDark Graphics Settings Tool during the game.

Sorry for bothering you guys.

I've got a similar error popping up after installing. No matter what I click on the graphic settings, it says it can't find the file (even though it's in the correct folder specified).

No idea how to fix this and nothing I've tried so far, including p.jakub88's method above, has worked.
The only way I've found to get around this is to read which file it's looking for, find it in the 'settings_files' folder and right click 'open with command prompt'.

Sorry for the late answer! I'm a little busy at the moment...

@ p.jakub88

What have you done to solve the problem?

Windows Vista OS is maybe a bit specifically ;)

I'm using Vista as well, but like I said I've found a way around the errors on the Settings program. Apart from that, the mod is working perfectly
