The Woodpecker just got updated to 1.2: all fonts were revamped so they scale properly on high resolutions plus are also compatible with new translations. They also look better. 🌐
As a result, Russian localization was added in-game, special thanks to Aleksei Panov! 🙏
Just go to the game settings and select your favourite language, like in original Amnesia!
This build should have been uploaded two days ago (Thursday the 6th) but I had bad phone network with continuous micro-disconnections.

The Woodpecker was a simple Custom Story, made in 8 days between December 2019 & January 2020.
It has been upgraded into a proper Total Conversion.

- Minor improvements here and there, new details.
- New puzzles.
- New items, objects to use.

Some of you may know me from the Forbidden Trip Total Conversion: well, forget this World!
The Woodpecker is a lot different...
The concept
This custom story for Amnesia was made in 8 days for the Dec. 2019 - Jan. 2020 Frictional Fan Jam: Winter Modding Event!
The themes were Winter & hibernation.
I'm a big fan of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. myself. Plus I'm a big fan of Amnesia, Penumbra & especially SOMA. So guess what? I decided to create a short narrative experience keeping in mind: what could happen if the worlds of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and SOMA were linked, in a parallel universe?
What's in for you
- An abandoned complex in the middle of a forbidden Zone is here for you to explore.
- A goal? Complete your mission. That will be well enough. There is a good reason for you to be here...
- I tried my best to create a simple yet nice storyline. In the end, you'll be the judge for that!
- Environments are a big change for an Amnesia mod. Visually it's partly inspired by S.T.A.L.K.E.R. titles.
- I worked hard and with passion to deliver an original mod to you!
