The Wastes is a post-apocalyptic multiplayer total conversion for Half-Life. You play as one of the few remnants of humanity, battling it out for survival in harsh and unforgiving environments, ranging from midwest deserts to cold dead cities.
This was a really fun mod back in the day, with a lot of Fallout / Mad Max style inspiration. Apocalypse deathmatch. It had some really cool guns too

the mod has great maps and weapons :D
This mod brings me back quite a bit, back to when I had to wait overnight for a mod to download. Never got to play it online, but always enjoyed the detail put into the game.
