Hassle With Finishing the Scripting news - The Subconscious Trials mod for Amnesia: The Dark Descent

I'm sure as some of you remember I said this would be out in March (though really I don't know why you would actually believe any of my claims in regards to release dates at this point WHOOPS) and considering it's August now I figured I should give an update.

Put simply I've always relied on other people for scripting seeing as level design and directing the project are the only two responsibilities I've ever had and Tyler more or less lost all interest in about mid April. Cause of that I've been trying to get him to finish up the remaining work for months and months and after a certain point where it was clear he wasn't doing really anything anymore I went out and searched for the help of other people who would be interested in finishing this up with me. Luckily, Kurton/Logan and Khyrpa for those of you that know them were willing to help out and they've been working on it since early August, and Tyler's basically off the project at this point. Given that there actually is progress being made on fixing everything up and getting it to flow properly now even if it might be slower due to their schedules, but that's a lot more than can be said than for like, the entirety of April through July, so I'll take what I can get. For those of you who don't know the two they're both incredibly detail oriented and put out very quality work, so if anything you'll likely get a more polished finished product cause of this change.

I don't hold any of this against Tyler by the way even if it is very frustrating for me (and I'm sure some of you that have been looking forward to this for a while), on some level I think we both understood that it was mainly my project and he was just helping out with it, so I can't really blame him for not staying as engaged in it as I have been. This will get done, at what point or on what schedule I really can't say at this point and given the history this project has had with release dates I'm really not even going to try anymore, but it will get done, and I truly think you guys will really enjoy it when it finally drops.
