A new way to experience KotOR II, The Sith Lords Massive Improvement Mod will reskin nearly the entire game, including characters, modules, dark side transitions, and 8000 pixel wide skyboxes. In addition, new visual effects, lightsaber hilts, menus, sound effects, and HUD are planned. Nearly every texture will be resized at least twice its original size, and most commoners will now have unique appearances. Major new details about the coming coming within the next few weeks.
Just to show some progress, here's a comparison of the vanilla version of Mandalore compared to an early unfinished version of mine (nothing except the body armor and shoulderpads had been done then). Although I completely redid it, I haven't changed the design itself whatsoever. It's basically a more detailed, higher resolution version.
I really have gotten a lot done on this mod, I just don't want to show a lot until the trailer. Progress on this mod increased on the weekend - got two major skins done, Mandalore and the Disciple. Christmas Break will be a great opportunity to work on this.
sweet
Cool, I'm playing Kotor 2 at the momnet
Same , I always wondered at why the Mandalore after the Jedi civil war would bother helping a lone jedi, and by himself is even more suprising.
For the same reason he joined the Player in the first game.
He knew he could find a good fight if he joined Reven and the Exile.
Also, Kreia mentioned something about Reven to him on The Exiles first visit to Dxun, and I believe it was Reven who gave him something (A Mask springs to mind) that allows him to become the Leader of the Mandalorians.
And Mandalore said that by joining the Exile, he may be able to find other Mandalorian Clans and ask them to join his cause.
(Note, I actually haven't finished the game yet, I bought it recently and am on my first play through. So correct me if I'm wrong.)
This is a massive improvement! This is going to be a great mod.
