The 501st was sent to eliminate her but the battle became a disaster the empire for a number of unexpected setbacks: On the land the 501st was shocked to see that the defenders of Naboo was leaded by their former brethren's from the from the famed Torrent company, the most veteran company of the 501st under the command of the traitors captain CT-7567 "Rex", the former second-in-command under Lord Vader. Under his command the Naboo defenders put up a deadly resistance and then lunched an even more deadly counterattack that drove them from the planet. In the bloody engagement, the 501st lost an entire battalion, entirely composed of veteran troops from the clone wars and Operation: Knightfall.
Made to be a do the job of it's larger brethren, the Tormentor is basically a gunship that packs the firepower of a small frigate. armed with no less than than four Heavy laser cannon, two Ion cannon, two nose mounted rail driver and one E-SAGE emplacement, a pack of these gunship can make short work on any medium weight ships that the Empire or RCA can throw at it, while it's armor can withstand multiple heavy blows. This massive firepower and armor however, comes at the cost of slow speed and maneuverability, which makes them a prey to starfighters. The Consortium tired to counter this by adding a enlarged version of the Self-Aware Gun Emplacement called E-SAGE. This resulted a ship that is not only lethal to face, but deadly to hunt down as well.

i've got an abbility
boost E-sage power: boosts the firing speed and power of the E-SAGE, but reduces the other weapons and engines. a good abbility when you're overwelmed by fighters.
This reminds me of the Viper in battlestar galactica.
