Description

Thew HVAAT is the Consortium answer to Empire and RCA's own anti-armor defense structures. Equipped with a high powered rail gun that fires shards of metal the tremendous velocity, the HVAAT can make shot work on any ground units the Empire or RCA's can throw at it. This, combined with the fact it is somewhat less expensive compared to many other CIS units as the technology is relatively simple and easy to manufacture, makes the HVAAT a numerous and fearsome enemy to deal with. It is however, not without weakness. The gun has a slow reloading cycle abd it needs a few seconds to charge it rails before firing. Also due the the sheer weight of both the gun and it's ammunition, the turret also suffers from a relatively slow rotation speed. However, if placed in the right place with proper support, the HVAAT's can stop entire columns of armor in their tracks.
