Sorry every thing has been rather quiet. Holidays just started, exams ended etc etc.
Here is the new Republic Centurion class destroyer. After the end of the Jedi Civil War, and the deaths of Malak, Traya, Nihilus and Sion, the republic re-captured many of these vessels, and added them to their own, steadily growing navy. They wont be very powerful when compared to modern warships, and will primarily be a light to mid warship for the Republic. Its greatest asset is a heavy proton torpeedo launcher, which fires between 6-8 shots per volly. this ship should always be esscorted by smaller craft, corvettes, gunboats even fighters. It carries a total of 4 A-wing sqauds and 2 Republic bomber squads.
P.S im thinking a more Republic like colour scheme, with red Designs on the hull whats the publics opinion?

I am confused, the republic is making sith styled warships? What time did the triangle design become standard for the republic?
These ships were originally created for the republic, but during the mandolorian wars the then Jedi Revan and Malak used these vessels in the war. When they vanished into the unknown regions they took all these ships with them, and returned as sith lords. After they died/were redeemed, the republic recaptured these vessels, and still use them today
Then why do we never see any "sith-like" ships on the Republic side before this? Surely they would keep making the tried and true design in Revan and Malak's Jedi Civil War. The designs just seem so different from the period Republic ships seen, and KOTOR makes no mention that any of the ships remain in Republic hands.
These ships were brought in toward the end of the madalorian wars to replace the other big republic cruisers, the Inexpugnable battleships. So they were very new, unseen designs. When Revan and Malak returned using these new ships against the republic they obviously associated these sort of ships with memories of fear and death. You'll notice that sith ships before this never were triangular in design, and in fact the triangular design originated from these first republic warships
