3. install 4.1

4. delete the map.rwm file

What files have you downloaded exactly?

Well, yes. Since 4.1 is only a patch not a standalone.

Yes, it is.

You definitely need the standalone, the patch is optional, but I recommend it. It fixes several bugs

does the english tralation translate to english

It should, yes

If you only play 4.0 you need the extra translation files. In case you have installed 4.1 you won't because the patch already includes the English translation files.
