Hi there,

The mod looks great, and I'm really excited to play, but the issue I seem to run into is that the sound is not working properly. I'm running 4.1 with English translation from a Steam version, and the main menu plays its music, but in game there is no sound at all except for the voices when you select units on the campaign map and in battle. All other sounds are completely silent. Do you know how to fix this problem?

Congratulations on all the work for what looks like a fantastic mod!

I also have the same problem but in the 5.0 beta. I installed first the beta.exe file, then the Beta_txt.exe file. The file paths are Steam - steamapps - common - Medieval II Total War - mods - Italian_Wars.

Could you check your directory
There should be a folder named sounds in
italian_wars/data/

hi. i have the same issue. cannon and some animation sounds dont work. i use the steam version of the game. i found the sounds folder and it has events music sfx and voice files in it(bot dat and idx files for eazh one). btw mod is of top quality, thanks.

my install directory is c/prog files(x86)/steam/steamapps/common/medieval total war 2/mods/italian_wars

i verified the game cache from steam and sound files fixed. its probably due to my first time installation of the game.i installed it directly to game folder(not in mods folder), so ,it fucked up my sound files i guess.hope it helps.
