France and the Hapsburg fight to gain ascendancy over Italy, involved are most of the Italian city states or lordships and even most of the European states. The war remains for more than sixty years on the Italian peninsula.

Hi, I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but I would like to know if there is news for the ultimate version. From your last post (the one hiring for testers in August) I read that should have been an update in September, but I didn't see any. The 4.0 version was great, but I cannot hold myself thinking of all the factions, events and improvements you are gonna to put in the end!

Hello,

I have some suggestion related with the historical accuracy of the spanish empire's properties in Italy. The first one is pretty simple but surely the most important one: the red and yellow flag comes from the eighteenth century and was firstly adopted as a national simbol in May the 28th of 1789 ¡and the armorial bearing you chose comes from our recent constitutional democracy! It was adopted in 1981. The flag with the burgundy cross was a better option (better than any other vanilla TW game for sure and i really apreciated it) and i think it would be more apropiate to put it with the flag bearer too. On the other hand the amorial bearing used at the begining of the campaign should be the one created by the catholic kings (isabel and fernando) in 1492, but after isabel's death in 1504 the armorial bearing switched to another which represented all of Carlos's properties. In an ideal way, it would be super cool to start the campaign as Kingdom of Aragón (which was supported almost exclusively by castillian troops so everything related to units would stay as it is now) And then, after Fernando's death it might transform into the Absburg Empire or Spanish Empire, as his properties were transpased to Carlos the 3rd of Germany and 1st of Spain. I imagined that it could be done using the same methods used in LoTR mod when the Free Peoples of Eriador turned into the Kingdom of Numenor, but that might be too much work.

So for simplicity sake, and given the fact that most of the campaign occurs during carlos's reign, his armorial bearing could be the faction symbol, as well as the one apearing in the flags during battles. I hope that doesn't supose a super difficult task, in which case i would still love the general result of all your work, so no problem, i'll play it anyway.

PD: to help my explanation i'm linking some videos

1sr - Spanish flags through history: Youtube.com

2nd - Historical recreation of spanish empire's battles:

Thank you very much for all the good work,
