The island is a singleplayer, first person shooter mod. There are no puzzles here, just pure, intense action. And who are your enemies? An army made up solely of zombies, particularly fast zombies, and their headcrabs. Where is this taking place? Any random island; the location is irrelevant. This mod will be best suited to skilled action-oriented gamers. The mod is eight maps in length and includes many of the Source engine's advanced features and effects. Work on The Island is complete and the mod is currently available for download. I would just like to apologise for the release date being two months later than originally planned. Man made hell :-)
Description
This patch fixes most issues related to engine branch incompatibility and is designed to run using the latest "Beta" of Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer. Instructions on how to install and use it are within the archive.

Do you know anything about the Half Life 1 mod "Dead Sector"?
It only had Czech translation and that made me sad, because I wanted to play it in english.

I am afraid I have never played this modification.
Currently, I am working on fixing game modifications based on the Source Engine.
I plan to move on to fixing Half-Life 1 modifications after fixing those.

Hello there.
So I just downloaded this mod and when I start a new game my character appears in some sort of cave with a campfire infront but I'm stuck and can't move at all.
