The Great War is a modification for Company of Heroes meant to bring the war two decades earlier. This mod focuses on the later years of the First World War. Currently the two teams will be the British Expeditionary Force against the German Empire, however with time the team will try and bring some more nations in, such as France and Austria-Hungary. This mod will focus or realism but keep the game balanced enough to make it enjoyable. Things to look for in the mod are the famous artillery strikes and the infamous gas attacks. Trenches will provide vital cover for infantry while tanks will roll over the battlefield and instil fear into the enemy troops.

The Sopwith Camel was modelled by Seppomatik and skinned by Wegvisor. It is used with the authorisation (and blessings!) from our inside1918 partners of the BF1918 mod.
The Whippet was modelled by Aidas2; all other models by Rataconfusca.
The Rolls-Royce was skinned by Chopin; all other textures by don_Durandal.
These models are all ingame as of version 1.2 of the mod, released in April 2014.

Why did they make "male" and "female" variants of the same tank?
They have different armaments if I recall correctly.
Females were issued with machineguns only. Why? Ask this guy En.wikipedia.org
If you'd ask me, there probably was no reason to have a cannon on every tank, as they were fighting soft targets most of the time. At least until Germans captured some of them and A7V shoved up.
