Please use the steam version if you are able, called The Great Exhibition. For those that need modules or local files like the original by Tinholt this mod has both the original modules, and the new updates in the empire update file. Mod is compatible with 1.30.+

How do I get this to work with 1.30?
I downloaded the full version "grand exhibition" which is 1.29.3 compatible. Deleted "frontend.gui" from "vd_the_grand_exhibition.zip" otherwise the game won't even get to the menu.
Then I downloaded "TG3 1.30 update" replacing the "vd_tgx_the_caliphate.zip" with the one from there. Didn't bother with "TGE_tgx_empire_update" because there's a later file with it.
Then I downloaded "Update for Empire" which adds a new mod "TGE_tgx_empire_update".
Added and enabled all through the launcher. During game play eventually it crashes when an event occurs (e.g. play as France wait under Surrender of Maine, game crashes).
Sorry I do not check this often.
It has been updated if you haven't fixed your issue already (or switched to the steam version).
It sounds like you might have a mod conflict, do you use a font mod like stellaris? If so you will need the compatibility patch. There are only a few mods that edit the eventwindow.gui file but any of those could cause a conflict.
Sorry I deleted frontend.gui, which means it no longer shows the little icons showing which modules are installed when you are starting a new game.
It runs fine without it other than that. You will need to put all the .zip and .mod files into your mod folder (identically named TGE_tgx_north_sea_empire , TGE_tgx_reichsadler etc.)
Sometimes it may say it is incompatible with current version if you had installed a previous version, just ignore this.

Yep I put everyting where it need to be.
But what about frontend.gui. I just can't find it inside that .zip file. Simply its not there.
Any Help?
