A very early work in progress MP93 made in sketchup.
How are you gonna hold the gun? Will it be on the handle infront of the mag like on the mp5, or on the mag like the mp40 in most games (however, it had a grip behind the mag, which may make your mp93 more unique compared to modern smgs)
I was thinking just having a hand hold the clip. It would look natural and feel natural. When I play airsoft and hold an M16 even tough I have a front handle I use the clip for my hand.
and this when we come to the part why you shouldn't hold a gun by it's clip: First of all, a magazine is never as steady as a real grip meaning your accuracy will be less. Secondly, holding the gun by it's grip will wear down the mechanism of the gun since it's lots of moving parts around the mag. The third thing is that you tend to sqeeze the mag which could result in jamming of the gun. These are points all weaponmanufacturers think of so it should atleast have a real grip, if the soldiers care is another question...
Wow, thanks for the info, I will keep it in mind.
