Maybe you should hold off showing WIP's, you're always going to get people saying stuff like this otherwise.
I bet most people appriciate this early WIP of the retro futuristic mp40/mp5, but the minority of people have to point out that it's "to blocky". Myself now got a clear picture of how Madmonkey want his mod to look like, and I can say I like it.

Yet Kiory I believe it's always important to show because even the harshest comments can be constructive criticism or a motivator.
Your also not considering the fact that MOST people don't entirely want to see WIP, they would rather a concept and a near finished model that they can compare it to, not something that is close to half way complete. Sure it's nice to see that there is work being done, but generally, WIP models are not something you should be showing off in these early states. Concepts would be nicer to look at in my opinion
Not trying to be a ****, but again it's just my opinion.
It's his first gun, ofcourse he wanna show it off, and it also shows the community he wants to do the hard work and not as some people just spam concept art and then ask for modelers and texture artists. But yeah, one picture of it may be enough. For example look at the paradox mod for RA3, their picture portfolio is full of WIPs and the fans have been able to follow the proces of the mod which have made it very popular.

Fair comments all, I was just voicing my opinion thats all. I suppose you have a point Griffin, but I just find it tedious when people keep posting pictures of the same model just at a different angle.

When its done try making it look smooth and slick but still have sharp blocky edges like most Nazi weaponry designs were like.
