This mod provides five campaigns for you to play that allow you to play as the flood using assets from some other halo mods. The campaigns are release, recuperation, infestation, vitriol, and decay. These campaigns puts you in the shoes of a couple combat forms showing the story of the flood spreading throughout the ring. Release takes place in the swamp facility where the covenant originally released the flood. You will have to fight out of the facility dealing with the covenant and humans that eventually come to the facility. Recuperation is set in the library after masterchief had decimated the floods forces getting the index, you play as the flood slowly renewing their numbers using a covenant task force sent to retrieve the icon. Infestation is the story of the flood that crashed the spirit from the swamp directly into a hanger bay on the truth and rec, be part of the initial infestation and watch as your horde grows in number.

A summary of all the fixes and things changed in this Halloween update.

It's Halloween so you know what that means, Halloween hotfixes. Now this update doesnt contain new content but rather focused on fixing things. A lot of this update is lots of small fixes across all four of the campaigns. This ranges from door states, timers, checkpoints and other stuff. Here is the full-ish list of stuff that's been changed.

  • Made changes to explosions to hopefully lessen the effect of grenade chains. Note hopefully, grenades are still to be feared in tight hallways.
  • Changed the Elite's shield down time to take .5 seconds longer to start recharging giving more opportunity to make more allies in battle.
  • Tightened up scripts to do with many different devices all throughout the different levels stopping some cases where music can overlap/sections can be skipped.
  • Tightened up a load of door scripts in release/infestation to hopefully help with progression.
  • fixed scripting in a few levels that caused the music to stop playing once you respawn in some fights ripping them of all atmosphere.
  • fixed checkpoints to be more fitting with the level objective so hopefully no more easy checkpoints obtained by running past everyone.
  • Went over scripting and trigger placement in vitriol3 and made general improvements throughout.
  • Finally fixed the open door skip in the first level of infestation
  • Removed ghost from last level of infestation
