Не может быть, я просто случайно нашел этот мод, я листал моды для Source, на вики, и увидел название, и внезапно это тот самый мод что я покупал на диске.

I saw this mod in the Eye Candy 2 competition map 'Idyllic' and got a sudden rush of nostalgia, which made me so happy. Sweet HL2 mod memories ;)

Крутой мод
I 'recall' playing this mod years ago. If 'memory' serves (I have an 'excellent' memory......but an 'exceedingly poor' recall...)...this was a pretty good mod.
I have 're-installed' this mod (and the patch) for the first time in at least several years. For some reason, this mod is NOT showing up on my list of games in my Steam folder. Why is this?
I 'uninstalled' the patch for this mod by replacing the 'gameinfo' in the patched folder....with the 'gameinfo' in the 'unpatched' folder.....
It seems, hence, that the patch was actually a 'bad patch' and prevented the game from showing up in my Steam Library. Appears that the problem has been solved...
Update: issue NOT resolved, after all. Now, without the 'gameinfo' patch....I get the error message when starting this mod: "Can't find background image materials/console/startup_loading.vtf." This is a common error message in many HL2 user-made mods......which prevents the mod from functioning......
The steampipe update broke HL2 mods by reorganizing the gameinfo file. You need to use the gameinfo patch or manually fix it yourself. It likely didn't show up because you installed it wrong or did not restart steam.
